WA1LSH RADIO SHACK

WA1LSH
My name is John Walsh, I have been a ham since 1965. I got my license when I was only 15 years old. I still own and use the radios from that era. The newer radios are far too costly for me. My radios do not have all of the up to date features, but they work great. I get excellent reports from people all over the world. I also now have a Vanity call, WA1LSH take out the number 1 and it will spell my last name. My old call was WA1JDB. Hope to talk to you on the air someday soon.

A Swan Power Supply
The model number for the power supply that is used for most of the Swans is the 117-X or 117_XC. The 117-X is just the power supply. The 117-XC is in a cabinet with a speaker and head phone jack. The power supply is connected to the transceiver by a 12 pin Jones plug.
A LAFAYETTE HA-460 from 1968
The HA-460 is a 6 meter AM transceiver which covers the lower part of the band. The VFO and Rec. are tuned independently from 50 to 52 mc. There is also a xtal socket on the front where you can plug a xtal in and a switch to go to it. This unit also has a spot switch so that you can put both on the same frequency. This unit also has a built in power supply for both 117 volt and 12 volt operation.
